What Burk Weather Center has done is installed equipment onto a server that pulls current weather data from the National Weather Service. Some of the maps and images are taken, with permission, from other internet sources. All this data is now in one spot so that the everyday person can quickly and easily keep up with the ever changing weather. This allows our users to go to one site and click their way to the weather products that they want to see.

Live local Doppler Radar is now available. These products are from the National Weather Service. You may want to "refresh" about every 6 minutes or so to get the latest image. Or click on one of the radar links to loop the images plus see and learn more about the radar products.

I have now installed a local weather station to bring you live local conditions for Burkburnett. This will include current temp's, wind direction and speed, humidity, dew point, and rain gage. You will also be able to look at the hi and low temperature for the day plus it will collect all the daily data and keep it archived. This information will update at the top and bottom of each hour. (it is supposed to anyway).

I will always try to improve this site and make it better and add more products as they become available. If there is something that you would like to see, please feel free to send me an email.

Ever since I was a youngster I have been interested in Weather. Now that part of my job (emergency management) deals with weather and I have had the opportunity to get some really in depth training, I figure why not share it with the folks I care about. Some of the weather data cost a small monthly fee, so if you feel generous, you can buy me a soda or a burger would be nice! Enjoy the site and keep an eye to the sky.
